Study Shows Breakthrough in Mycotoxin Reduction

DENVER – August 12, 2022 – Energis Solutions™ achieves high mycotoxin reduction results in recent study completed by Colorado State University. The study shows Energis Solutions™ Mycotoxin Reduction Technology breaks down 90% + of the mycotoxin molecules within mere minutes of treatment.

As part of the study, samples of Aflatoxin, Fumonisin, and Vomitoxin were treated using Energis Solutions™ Mycotoxin Reduction Technology, and within minutes achieved a complete break-down of the mycotoxins’ molecular structure, without leaving any negative residuals. Notably, when Aflatoxin was treated with the solution, in just 2 minutes, 99.7% of the Aflatoxin molecule had been broken down. The testing and results were replicated multiple times to verify the findings.

The study states the impact this technology will have on the grain processing industry as follows, “Energis Solutions’ technology can break down harmful mycotoxins with enough speed and efficiency to allow mycotoxin treatments to be adapted for virtually all grain processing systems which may increase the useable grain supply by up to 25% or more.”

Energis’ Mycotoxin Technology has been submitted to the FDA and full approval is anticipated in the third quarter of 2023.
